The Ghost of the Bailo [commander]

The graphic novel, 'The Ghost of the Bailo', is a group project by the graphic novel department of the Chalkis Artistic Workshop.

The story beings with a plan for each page, which is done on the board, in discussion with the students. We then share out the frames and the final layout is decided upon. In this way, the student becomes part of the process of producing a story, which it would be hard for them to create individually.

I always thought that the area around Agia Paraskevi would be a great place for a treasure hunt, with all the medieval monuments. And it was from this that the idea for the graphic novel took shape.
